Affiliate disclosure
Last updated
SunSocket may earn a commission when you buy through some links on this site, at no extra cost to you. We follow the Federal Trade Commission's rules on endorsements and disclose these links clearly.
Where affiliate links appear
Affiliate links appear only on kit tracker rows that have one, and right next to each one we say: “We earn a commission if you buy through this link.” Rows without an affiliate link point to the maker's own page when we have it, and every row links to the source we got its facts from.
What affiliate status never changes
- A product's position in the tracker. The default order is California status, then certified inverter, then price.
- A product's badges. Inverter UL 3700, whole-kit UL 3700 and California status come only from our data and sources.
- Whether we call a product California-compliant. We do that only when its California status is “Compliant.”
Installation referrals
If you ask for installation help, we may connect you with a licensed contractor and be paid a flat fee for the referral. We'll tell you before we share your details. We only refer to licensed contractors, we don't quote installation prices, and we never take payment for an installation.
