About SunSocket

SunSocket helps Californians decide whether plug-in (balcony) solar is worth it for their home, and which kit to buy when California-compliant kits arrive. It's for renters, condo owners and homeowners, especially people who can't put solar on a roof.

What we do

• Kit tracker: separate badges for inverter certification, whole-kit certification and California compliance.
• Guides and updates: plain English, with every fact linked to its source.

How we stay honest

• Every guide and tracker row links its source and shows an as-of date.
• We only show a product as “Compliant” after the maker has confirmed it meets California's plug-in solar law and we've seen the lab certification. That's a status, not a safety guarantee; see our disclaimer.
